4 Adorable Ways to Include Your Pet in Christmas This Year

Christmas isn’t just about gifts and glitter — it’s about the ones who make your home feel full. And for us pet parents, that definitely includes our furry babies.

This year, let’s go beyond toys and treats. Here are four super cute, easy activities to celebrate Christmas with your pet.

1. Bake Them a Christmas Cake (Pet-Safe Recipe)

Ingredients

  • 1 big or 2 small bananas
  • 2 cups oat flour
  • 2 tbsp dog-safe peanut butter
  • 1 glass of water
  • Ghee/coconut oil for greasing

Method

  1. Mash bananas.
  2. Add oat flour, peanut butter, and water. Mix well.
  3. Grease a baking tin with ghee/coconut oil.
  4. Bake at 180°C for 30–35 mins.

Icing

  • 2 spoons of curd

  • 1 spoon of peanut butter

    Mix and spread.
A wholesome, pet-safe cake perfect for the holidays.

2. Make a Paw-Print Christmas Ornament

Use roti flour/air-dry clay, flatten it, place a cling/saran wrap on the clay, press your pet’s paw, write their name, tie a ribbon, and let it dry.

Hang it on your tree for a forever keepsake.

3. Create a Paw-Print Christmas Art

This may contain: a child's handprinted christmas tree on a white card with the words happy pawdays

Stamp your pet’s paw using pet-safe paint to form the shape of a Christmas tree.
Add ornaments and a star. Write their name at the top.
Display it as festive home décor.

4. Do a Cute Christmas Wrapper Photo Shoot

Use leftover Christmas wrapping paper to create a fun shoot. Let your pet pose "bursting" through the paper or wrapped like a gift.

The photos turn into adorable holiday memories.

This Christmas, Make Memories

Whether you’re baking, crafting, or taking cute photos, these moments live on long after the season ends. Include your pet in your traditions — because to them, you’re Christmas.
